With Wushu Project, it is more than having lions to show your Asian traditions and customs to our guests; it is about creating excitement and bringing a sense of wonder to one of the milestones in your life. Our Toronto based lion dance team has performed extensively around Canada and China as Canada’s Official Lion Dance team and are highly skilled in acrobatics and choreographed dancing. This allows us to craft and customize dance routines to both traditional live music as well as modern hit songs that brings familiarity and excitement to you and your party.

LIONS & WEDDING TRADITIONS

 

Lions are symbol of good fortune, and are said to brings happiness, longevity, and good luck. It has been a growing tradition to have lions bless wedding couples in hopes to have a long and health union.

 

Often you will see lions unveiling scrolls/banner with traditional Chinese weddings sayings such as; “100 Years of Good Marriage” or “A Union of Hearts.”

We specialize in creating excitement by bringing out both contemporary and traditional values in each and every show. We are more than a regular lion dance team and we strive for perfection with each and every show. Having been in Toronto’s luxury wedding industry for many years, we have worked alongside many of GTA’s top, wedding planners, entertainers, photographers, and artists. This experience allows us to coordinate with your other 3rd party vendors to ensure the performance is as seamless and easy for you as possible, where you can sit back and enjoy the show. We also offer our own in-house photographers, who specialize in action photography to ensure that these special moments will be saved for memories to come.
